I was caught out by this fraud at the end of 2019. The man went to 2 banks to withdraw money. I thought he had 2 accomplices, who I would guess were his parents, who waited by their car, possibly to see what I would do. I phoned my husband to stop my card but it was too late, it was all so quick.
I contacted Action Fraud, but never heard a thing from them to follow up.
Shortly after this took place, I got off the bus in Fulham and there were notices up on lampposts to warn people about this fraud. I felt let down that no notices went up in Norroy Rd, where it happened, or anywhere else around the high street.
