Please Support The Bricklayer's Arms

I'm sure most of you know the Bricklayer's. It's a lovely pub that serves some great ales, an independent Putney business, and comes with 200 years of history. They are looking for support to renovate the premises so they can be open again when we are allowed back to pubs.

I don't have any affiliation with the Bricklayer's. I just have memories of some great times in there, which I hope I can add to.
It has been a while, so for the benefit of those who have forgotten what they are, a pub is a place where people go to socialise with friends :) They have all suffered immensely because of COVID, and I'm hoping Putney's pubs can survive.

The Bricklayer's is a historic Putney pub and pretty much unique in not being tied to a major chain of pub ownership. Let's hope it survives and thrives. Its earlier model of quality real ale was somewhat undermined by the previous landlady's frugal business model which ran the enterprise at pretty much a subsistence level. Let's hope the new business takes off and gives us a break from the tedious ubiquity of a Young's hostelry.

Spoke to the new landlord a few times when he was serving takeaway pints.Absolutely great person, definitely treating it as a local beer pub (not going down Youngs route) and the pictures look great. Can't wait to get this back!

Just came on here to see if anyone had already put anything up about this, great that you already have. Well worth the support! I'm not a regular by any stretch of the imagination but think it really needs to be given help if it needs it.
