Avoid layers of clothing when coming for your covid vaccine!

I am a volunteer at the Scout Hut vaccine centre.  A request from our wonderful nurses who are doing a fabulous job vaccinating ... please don't wear layers and layers of coats, jumpers and long sleeved tops. It takes some people ages to get the top of their arm out of all the layers in order to be vaccinated!  A short sleeved t shirt with an easy to take off warm layer is perfect.  Obviously with the freezing weather forecast next week, we understand you'll need to dress appropriately but otherwise please bear this in mind.  Thank you so much!!

Being serious, the Oxford Road operation was very well organised. I was a couple of minutes early for my  appointment Monday afternoon, but the queue moved along  steadily with appropriate distancing, and I was out within 20-25 minutes including 15 minutes "rest" required after the Pfizer vaccine.

Mr Knight, during this long Covid nightmare you may have forgotten some social norms, but please wear BOTH a T-shirt AND, at least, a pair of shorts.

I have just been (Saturday mid day,over 65) very efficient, less then 5 minutes from arriving to leaving inoculated with the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine. Probably worked so well because it was NHS organised, not contracted to SERCO, Capita or G4S.

Good advice the first thing I thought of, wear a short sleeved t shirt and a thick coat.
