Scout Hut Vac Centre Still Shut!

As of 10 am this Friday morning January 22nd the Scout Hut Centre is still closed!I saw a lady with her elderly mother go in to the drive way only to find it was all shut down!What is going on ? The Chair of our council seems to suggest all is well!!

I had my first jab at the Scout Hut yesterday. They were doing a roaring trade and I see they did 273 on Saturday. All very efficiently run so thank you NHS. Just as well though that Putneymead sent me text to book on Thursday as today I got a first class NHS letter dated 22 January inviting me to book yesterday's appointment. I wonder if this is why the take up rate is less than expected. Something is still clearly wrong with our local Royal Mail which the "management" need to address even though I know it will all be blamed on Covid absences which don't seem to affect Amazon etc.

I did get my sticker, I thought it said there's a good girl. I stuck on my handbag otherwise I'll forget and it will end up in the wash.

I've just had mine at 4 today no problem, well organized, plenty of staff, nurses and doctors to answer your questions. Loads of people being seen. I think we should be thankful. Usher's seeing you in.

Andrew I am the lady who asked you about the Scouts Hut  yesterday.Thank you for your help. I was walking up Werter Road and I was approached by a very frail lady who was looking for the Scouts Hut. My sense of direction is ghastly at any time. Elizabeth had not realised she needed an appointment. I spoke to the young woman managing the Vaccination centre. She said they were awaiting new arrivals of some vaccines. She said they are are not open every

I have an appointment at the Scout Hut on Sunday. I am 70 and classed as Extremely Vulnerable.

I think the top 4 groups ie care homes, 80+ and NHS, 75+, 70+ clinically very vulnerable all come under the ‘vulnerable’ umbrella. For what it’s worth the government has said that all these groups will be vaccinated by mid February.

@May 13.02Hi Mary.  My older Brother (74) and living in Fulham had his letter today and he's getting the jab tomorrow.  He isn't in any vulnerable group either.  I am but haven't been given many notification of when mine will be done.  It seems to be rather hit or miss in Putney. 😐

Any update on the progress of Vaccination rates locally - has the Scout hut been open daily? Many areas have moved on to giving the jab to the over 70s and in parts of NI some over 65 year olds have got it already.

Yet a number of people on the vaccines posts say they got their jab there yesterday !!Are those that got the jab mistaken where they went ?? Doubt it somehow.

I live just around the corner, and it has not been open for the last 3 or 4 days when I have walked past at Lunchtime for example.

Perhaps it doesn't open that early. They might have got the time wrong.
