Oh I wish that I had seen that. Still there is a DVD of the 1996 film with Dustin Hoffman and Dennis Franz, so I can order that.

David, I think Mamet’s “American Buffalo” might be more appropriate.  The action takes place in “Don’s Resale Shop”, where “Don instructs his protege in the art of good business”.  Yes I have seen that on stage too!  I only went to see Al Pacino who was the star.

Being as there is no Arthur Miller around these days, maybe David Mamet could write "The Tragedy of Trump"."Whilst I usually try not to enjoy the misfortune of others"Really? He’s President in name only, now.  Apparently no-one close to power is listening to him anymore and everything is being directed through the Veep.Whilst I usually try not to enjoy the misfortune of others, there is some delicious irony in the thought that rather than emerge from the Presidency with vastly improved opportunities, the commercial Trump brand has been totally rubbished.  Can’t see any serious business wanting to go anywhere near any business with Trump on it for the foreseeable future.

Not sure. My understanding is many of the resorts aren't owned btpy Trump Corp, they just licence the Trump name from it - although I believe it dies own Turnberry. Pity he didn't go ahead with the Moscow venture. Saudi Arabia gave Idi Amin asylum and Trump doesn't drink ... not sure Melania  or Ivanka would like the fashions though ...

"Does anyone care?"I'd imagine that the Uniformed Division of the Secret Service, the Capitol Police, the DC Police and DC National Guard, the various surrounding states' National Guards and their Police Forces, the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ... etc would have an interest (after the 6th January business).There's a whole lot of law enforcement agencies in the USA. He will be out of the country in all likelihood. But not at one of his Scottish resorts as they won’t let him in. Does he own a resort in a country with no extradition treaty?

Because when talking about orderly transition of power, at least in my mind, it implies the standard order of the ceremony is going to take place, including the presence of the outgoing president.
