St George's Hospital ~ Covid

Staff at London hospital admit they've 'never felt more demoralised'https://mol.im/a/9115485More young people are now dying of Covid.  However the report is in the Daily Mail so it's probably fake news, isn't it?  And those nurses weren't really crying, the DM reporter made it all up, didn't they? 🙄

62 people under the age of 40 have died  since 30 November. Compared to 52 in November. So young people are dying but the rate hasn't increased dramatically. The next age bracket (40-59) is 598 v 437 for reference!

Of course it’s true and it’s terrible. I also saw the clip from St George’s on the BBC. Doctors’ descriptions were truly horrifying. They were begging people to keep to the rules. Let’s hope the vaccination programme moves quickly

oh in fact the video in that article is the same one i sawvery depressing. I also had an argument with a distant family member last night who was of the opinion 'its their job, they should just get on with it, it's no worse than the flu!' etc etc.

I dont think anyone (apart from those couple of nutjobs who seem to have vanished) is going to accuse the mail of making it up.There was a good report last night from St George's on BBC news as well.I have a friend who works there - his word for the current situation was 'carnage'.
