Question For iPhone Users

Or any body else.  I can't work out how to make the photos saved on my iPhone, bigger. It's probably easy and obvious, but not to me lol.  I want to upload them directly to eBay so I don't particularly want to host them on another platform.  MTIA. xx

Well done. Make a note of what you can remember doing, as it may come in useful another time. I use Zoom every month or two, and I have to relearn/rediscover some aspect each time. (Mind you that is on a PC and also on a tablet). Good luck with the Ebay listings.

Of course I didn’t mean that I meant the on/off button on the right, pressed at the same time as the Home button. Pesky thing!

It turns out you use the Home button on the front at the bottom not the on/off button on the right hand side, pressed at the same time as the + volume button on the left hand side. Nobody tells you this stuff!I recently found out how to do umlauts, accents and circumflexes on some vowels. You just hold down the letter button and all the öptïônš appear.

Hi Matt.  I want to sell some items on eBay and the photos are already in my iphone album. and their size is currently. 640x480.  When I try to upload them to eBay it doesn't work and I get the message 'Photos must be at least 500 pixels on the longest side''.  🙁

Sorry, Sue, this doesn't really help you. You might have to get another app as I don't think the free Android apps allow resizing, just cropping. Sorry, I don't know about I phones.

Actually, it's volume down (not up) on my Samsung S8 and Bush tablet, it was different on my old Sony.

Press the Side Button and the Volume Up button at the same time.Quickly release both buttons.    After you take a screenshot, a thumbnail appears temporarily in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. Tap the thumbnail to open it or swipe left to dismiss it.

what is it exactly you are trying to do Sue. The way i normally do what I think you are trying to do is zoom in to the photo (via pinch and zoom) and then just take a screenshot. Then edit the photo using photoshop express (free) to crop off the bit that clearly show its a screenshot :)but of course that may not be what you are trying to do

I already downloaded that app David but it was too complicated for me so I deleted it.  It isn't free but there is a 3 day free trial period, I would be happy to pay for it if only I could understand how to use it.  Which I didn't. ☹️

Hi Ben.  Thanks for the link but I had already found it and it recommends downloading an app called Image Size which is not what I want to do, and it's not free either.  There must be an easier way to do it on the phone itself.
