Just read, Harry wondering whether he has done the right thing marrying Meghan. How long now will it last. Perhaps he's decided to do the right thing, get his life sorted.

"Well David how would you know, might be a wig and the baby is still bald."Just as well he's not heir to the throne :)

I agree Lucille, it is the "silly season" in December!!Anything to distract people's attention "to detail"!
Ivonne Holliday ● 1919d
I'd agree with that, Ed

We really do have a slow news day if all anyone can come up with is writing about Harry and whether the published image is of his son or not and whether he has hair or the baby is wearing a wig?! Thanks for the laugh.

Well done with the turkey Barabara.Reports of the Queen blocking a honour for Blair seems interesting - creating a bit of a backlog.

Sue an elected upper house and an elected head of state would be my ideal but anything that gets us moving in the right direction would get my vote. I would prefer slow but steady reform.
Well David how would you know, might be a wig and the baby is still bald.
"I also saw a picture of Harry and Meghan little boy first time since he has grown, with a mop of ginger hair. Unless it wasn't really him."And how would you know either way?

Glad I gave forum members something else to think about, after all the repeats on TV. Got my money back on Sainsbury's smelly Turkey, seemed they had had a few complaints. I also saw a picture of Harry and Meghan little boy first time since he has grown, with a mop of ginger hair. Unless it wasn't really him.
Yes, very wealthy privileged people who dumped the RF and debunked to America seeking privacy. Markka has sought the limelight ever since.🙄
"It's a bit of drama for the country, a distraction from daily reality."Like the Colosseum in Rome? A bit of harmless fun, with the opportunity to put our thumbs down? They may seem unreal, but they are real people.
What type of system would you like Ed?
Thankyou for your concern over my mental welfaare David.😽
I'm not a royalist but I can try to understand the interest. It's a bit of drama for the country, a distraction from daily reality. A long running soap if you like that many people enjoy but more than that they see it as part of what makes this country different, a mixture of identity and tradition. But what I do struggle with is the idea that we can not be more democratic because there is no ideal system and therefore no change is preferable. That idea I simply can't understand.
"Back to Harry. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Megs dumps him in a few years especially if Queenie revokes their titles which would seriously affect Meg's merching abilities. She does have form in dumping husbands and she's made her fortune already and won't need her royal meal ticket anymore. Cynical moi?"Good to see that you are happier again.----------------SH: "I had a crap Christmas and couldn't be bothered to post because the recent threads bored me."
Andy, most women enjoy a bit of goss, some men too...but they call themselves journalists. Back to Harry. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Megs dumps him in a few years especially if Queenie revokes their titles which would seriously affect Meg's merching abilities. She does have form in dumping husbands and she's made her fortune already and won't need her royal meal ticket anymore. Cynical moi?
Who has Harry confided in to validate this fairy tale?? Just another piece of baseless crap on the internet.theres even a bookie offering odds on them breaking up in the next 5 years.Oh Barbara can see you over the garden fence with all the tittle tattle. 😁😁

I think it's rather sad. However, I think it's just another demonstration of how anachronistic hereditary roles and those related to them are in a twenty first century democracy. Still, I must admit I'd rather have Elisabeth II as head of state then POTUS 45 - or Putin ...
Ha Ha.
I'm still waiting for that smart lawyer with the bicycle to turn up and save her.I'm sure they can work the Royal thing into a new season of Suits on Netflix. Perhaps they will have room for a new baddie too.
