Multi Fix East Sheen

On the bus in East Sheen this morning and noticed a Closing Down sign in the Multi Fix window. The shop was as chaotic as Sam's Audio, but they fixed some aged table lamps for me that I'm sure no one else would have bothered with. So it's a loss.

Yes Elizabeth have seen the sign for a few weeks now. Also Johnson's Shoes has shut.

Scruffy place, stuff everywhere and John the most miserable guy on the planet.OMG I'll miss that brilliant shop.Like Ms Balsom he rewired a pair of bedside lamps for me and repaired many domestic appliances over the years.Hope he's closing by choice!

A huge loss.  Lost count of how many things they’ve fixed for me over the years - from multiple lamps, vacuum cleaners to home visits for large appliances.  Also sold even the most complicated of light bulbs.  Old school and can’t think of anyone off hand to replace them.
