CCTV

Hi all, sorry I should or mentioned the street. It’s fanthorpe at of lower Richmond rd. It was mainly over the first lockdown but a recent car window smash and the contents stolen we decided to proceed with cctv. It feels like there are more people trying to be opportunistic with theft these days. Thanks, Jess

I've also had this leaflet on my car, from recent experience I can more than believe that a lot of this sort of stuff is going on.

I would be interested to know this too. There was a daytime burglary in my road which happened on Sunday a few weeks ago, the police delivered a leaflet to warn everybody.  I could be interested in having cctv fitted myself because it seems a good price..

Jessica, perhaps you could let residents and forum members know what road you live in as you say there have been a load of break ins.

Apart from break-ins it is useful for spotting catalytic converter thieves and other antisocial activity.  www.owl.co.uk the neighbourhood/business watch scheme can alert neighbours when they themselves are alerted my members of the public.
