Fire break , that went well then

With Wales considering further restrictions in the lead up to xmas I wonder if they wish they had ignored captain hindsight call for a 2 week firebreak and followed Englands lockdown. Ah well that's what devolution gets you.Well sort of but still controlled by their main UK party leadership.Thankfully we ignored captain hindsights pleafor a firebreak.

They should therefore have waited for the uk govt and followed the lead. Also the scots dont seem to be having the same problem and they took a variant route.

This is just your imagination working overtime. It's self-evident the firebreak would be less effective if it only applied in one nation.

no suggestion (yet) by the Welsh govt that the increase is due to the English importing it or people crossing the border taking it back to Wales.They seem to suggest it's due to a lack of adherence to the rules within Wales.

Can we stop with the juvenile name calling? We are in the middle of a national crisis and this sort of thing works against making genuine progress on an agreed basis.A firebreak in Wales would undoubtedly have been a lot more effective if England was having one at the same time. A large proportion of the Welsh population lives within 30 miles of the border and there is significant movement of people each way every day.
