Fire crews are battling an ongoing fire in Wandsworth that broke out earlier this morning (Monday, December 7).London Fire Brigade have sent ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters to Montserrat Road.Firefighters have rescued a man from a second floor flat in a mid-terrace house of three floors.The brigade were first notified about the incident at 10.20 am.A statement from London Fire Brigade said: Firefighters have rescued a man via an internal staircase."The man was treated for smoke inhalation by London Ambulance Service crews and taken to hospital."The whole of the flat and part of the roof is currently alight."The Brigade's Control Officers have received multiple calls about the fire."Fire crews from Wandsworth, Fulham, Chelsea, Hammersmith, Clapham, Battersea, Richmond and West Norwood fire stations are at the scene."https://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/news/18925961.firefighters-battle-blaze-wandsworth/
