It’s not a binary choice between either virus restrictions or the economy. If we don’t get the virus under control then the economy won’t function properly anyway. People won’t go out if they think it’s risky, they won’t go to shops or cafes and restaurants either, even they’re open, if they think it’s risky. So virus restrictions have to continue for now, in my view. We all know they’re a pain and I think I’m getting cabin fever but I think the alternative is far worse. At least we know a vaccine is just around the corner.
