It actually says 'this trial would not be suitable for pregnant women or those on anti coagulants.....

Was rather concerned that St. Helier Hospital want volunteer's, and fare paid. But they said pregnant women, and people on clopadril, (Iv'e probably spelt wrong). That is taken after stents or heart bypass. That made me rather concerned. Would hate it to affect a new born or person after surgery. Just seemed strange that they had been included if still only a trial.

David. I guess that's where herd immunity comes in to prote the 10% where the vaccine doesn't work and those who can't have it - unless the ant-vaxers mess that up? Interestingly, this vaccine apparently uses a new technique bases on using part of the virus's RNA profile which means it should be possible to adapt it for other viruses. So if the Danish mink wreak their revenge (for keeping them cramped in cages until their execution in the human pursuit of fashion) by mutating the virus then there's still hope! The only unknown at the moment appears to be the period the virus is effective for is uncertain, unless I missed something?

This is excellent news, and maybe the beginning of the end of the Covid crisis. My one reservation concerns the 10% who are not protected: who exactly are they? If they're vulnerable/older people I'd be a little concerned.

Good news - although it still has to obtain regulatory approval plus there's the logistics of storage, distribution and application - it apparently needs to be kept very cold - and it needs two doses for 90% efficacy. But it does shows light at the end of the tunnel 😺
