I think this just kicks the TFL funding model down the road a couple of months.Commuters and tourists are going to be down next year too.Running costs on are likely to go up and large projects will still likely over run.A short term fix isn't good for London or a UK recovery.Any fare increases are likely to keep commuters, tourists & shoppers away.Some non-political creativity is going to be needed at both Downing St and City Hall - sadly I'm not sure that will happen!

Yes I believe that is correct Michael.All bands include GLA funding as shown here:https://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/council-tax/about-council-tax/I think they were just showing a common example.

Ivonne. It's confusing but I think that's someone's estimate for a typical Band D increase: bands below will pay less, bands above more? One suspects the source close to negotiations doesn't really know? That's the only interpretation that makes any sense to me!
