Cleaning company knocking on doors
This morning a young lady knocked on our door asking to be let in to clean our property. I said we hadn't asked for any cleaning. She was quite aggressive and said we must let her in as the owners of the property had sent her. I said that we were the owners of the property.She tried to 'prove' her claim by showing me the address and post code of our property. I said the details were correct, but we were nonetheless the owners, and had not asked for any cleaning services.She phoned the her company, but they did not reply.Not sure what this was all about. The most charitable explanation is that the company is looking for renters who would not challenge what the owners wanted, and who then pay up for cleaning. I can think of worse interpretations too. So beware!
