I just wish that they would stop reporting positive test results as a "case". Apart from the fallibility of the pcr test, a "case" is someone receiving treatment and not someone with no symptoms (the majority of those testing positive). It seems pretty obvious that the more they test, the more positive results they are getting. Surely that reflects the fact that after 9 months, the virus has spread throughout the population. Many experts are saying that the pcr test is being misused. It was never meant to be used in the way it is being used. This Off Guardian article from June explains why: - https://off-guardian.org/2020/06/27/covid19-pcr-tests-are-scientifically-meaningless/?fbclid=IwAR0OFMLQ-oW85YSrDczm8rjLC1cCJmJ4lIIoW3_-PIYYJRypsmgh2CH8fJ4 At about a 5.3% chance of dying if returning a positive pcr result, the UK has one of the highest case fatality rates in the world. Other countries ,with much lower CFRs are using prophylaxis. Why Sir Patrick Vallance is still the government's Chief Scientific Advisor after implying that racism was the reason why south Asians and people with black skin are more likely to die from Covid is beyond belief. That notion has recently been dismissed by an in-depth study but caused those people a lot of distress. However; it is true that south Asians and people with black or dark skin are more likely to be infected and die from Covid. One candidate factor is vitamin D deficiency. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0960076020302764 Similary, zinc deficiency appears to be a factor. This paper from 2010 is one of many: - https://journals.plos.org/plospathogens/article?fbclid=IwAR2znc1tk21X1c0NJW3YT_nphHFkXjWLTr7-a1SKyiALI_hUlbA_tdYqbLk&id=10.1371%2Fjournal.ppat.1001176The Chinese reported back in February that those who died in Wuhan were found to be zinc deficient. Zinc prevents or disrupts the attachment of SARS-Cov-2 protein spikes to cells of the alveoli.Even the WHO are aware of its effectiveness: -https://www.who.int/elena/titles/bbc/zinc_pneumonia_children/en/ Personally, I've been supplementing with 2,000 i.u. of vitamin D3 and 50 mg of zinc a day.Meanwhile, the US NIH Covid Treatment Panel and UK SAGE group are woefully behind the times and still recommending Remdesivir over all other possible (and cheaper, more effective) treatments. That's what the science says. Worse, the NIH treatment panel and UK HNS are relying upon the very worst studies to support their stance against some treatments and then sifting carefully through objectively poor data to find some minor nuggets to support their preferred (and more expensive) treatments. The current "Gold Standard" for prophylaxis (prevention) as soon as possible after a positive test is: -Ivermectin 12 mg 1 doseIntravenous Vitamin D (dose dependent upon blood screening result)Zinc 50 mg once a day for 4 days on a 14-day cycleDoxycycline 100 mg once a day for 4 days
