Rose, you're absolutely right.If the person who answered the phone had said, "Oh, sorry to hear that. Don't worry, we'll sort it" I would have felt reassured, but her immediate response was "you'll have to pay for another visit" and I thought "Uh?" OK, they have a business to run, but it has left a nasty taste, and I've been a customer for about 14 years and always named them when people asked for a plumber recommendation. If, like me, you know nothing about plumbing, central heating etc, sometimes you need reassurance.
