Michael,I agree that this seems to be one of those false rumours, but let's put that aside.What I find interesting is the liberty question. If the government (not this one for argument sake but one that was more open and honest) said we need to collect geolocation data, payment details etc - just like the South Korean app, would you or anyone else be in favour?I ask this because we seem to almost place our electronic freedom above our physical freedom. i.e Lock downs, schools closed, meeting in groups of 6 or less etc - but don't have our geo data!And even if the electronic freedom won - I wonder how much people would pay for it in terms of pounds and deaths, (Billions on the national debt, NHS treatments put on hold, care homes at risk etc)?I think the question is meaningless with the current government but it does raise interesting thoughts if we did have such a government.
