Hugh Thompson's interviews illuminate Putney's past
Hugh Thompson' latest interview with Derek Wood (see front page) and his previous interview with him in May about VE Day memories are both fascinating. Hugh has given us several of these memoirs from local people before. Would it not be a good idea to publish them in some form? Perhaps Wandsworth Historical Society or Putney Society could help?
