XR posters on Charlwood Road

Would be nice if The local XR  participants could remove their posters from Charlwood Road railway bridge.Dont see why LBW should pay to get them removed. There are also  quite a numberOn the pedestrian River bridge from Putney Bridge Road to Deodar Road.. XR are famous for leaving behind a nasty mess, time to clean up your act! You had your protest, take down your torn posters! Don't expect ratepayers to pay!

Yes I went by this morning for a quick look, it's a shame people have tried to pick them off. Hopefully they will get refreshed asap.

We chased the council today, they say the correct signs will be back up asap. Apparently they said they are swamped dealing with all the LTN complaints although i'm not sure why that would affect the signage department (admittedly i know nothing of how the council works!)

I have to say it doesn't look pretty.Posters half peeled off on both sides.If they were on or off I wouldn't mind but the current state looks very messy!

I gather they were removed because they didnt say 'term time only', the replacements are due soon apparently

Bunny problem is, so many complained about the White Lion and the wall art was removed, what right has the XR got to stick bits of paper all over the town. NO RIGHT.

I can't believe that some people can be so small minded.  This is a global crisis and people are moaning about such ridiculous things. Have a look at my favourite film Wall-E, you might think it's a kids film, but it's really not.  My most favourite film and beautiful.

We'll get the real protester's protesting and the poster's taken down making them look silly. Like the look on the people's faces when you bloked of Charlewood Rd, making out they were all in agreement, taking the law into your own hands. Bo Ho.

Yes Barbara, whoever did it specifically targeted anti-XR forum members....Anyone who knows where I live can vouch for the fact that our window displays shove our anti-brexit/pro XR feelings down the throats of passers by.

All it's doing is causing more problems, also letting youngsters think they can do what they want and start their spraying spree's again. Which then somebody does have to come and clear up.

actually i wasn't being pedantic, I genuinely didnt know what it was. I looked it up in the end and learnt all about 'rates'Personally I think XR artwork looks amazing, I hope whoever put it up keeps it there!

Aren’t the people who put them there possibly rate payers too?I would rather my taxes got spent removing posters than promoted a cause and gave information, than gum from the pavement which is just down to sheer laziness Not saying I support either, but just making a comparison

From the more balanced reporting of XR events it is clear that they have been scrupulous in removing any “mess”.  Where do you get that idea from?
