31-43 Putney High St

I've just received an email from the planning dept about a revised application for 31-43 PHS. There's so many of these things I can barely remember what it was, and wonder if anyone has any insight into it.

The applicant GOVERNSIDE LIMITED is not registered with Companies House but there is a Governside registered in the Isle of Man but last returns filed in 2014.Surely a reputable company would have up to date filings. Hope this is not another shady money-laundering (Drugs, Human Trafficking) outfit washing its dirty linen on PHS.

For a useful summary of the implications of this monstrosity check out the Putney Committee of Small Businesses comment on Wandsworth's planning portal. Feel free to look at the plans themselves of course. So inappropriate, will probably fail and become an unrentable white elephant.

The developers seem keen to cram as much as they can into a small space. Anyone suffering from claustrophobia would be well advised to stay away from this hotel, since the rooms are horribly small - and 34 out of 197 have no windows. The courtyard is small as well, and will be overshadowed by the bulk of the building. And it seems completely out of scale with the rest of the High Street.
