My sympathies: am in the same situation except that, over past year or more, I regularly get NO collection of either garden or recycling/other bin bags (although the rest of the road seems to get collected - which could make one feel marginally paranoiac :) ). I have, over past decades, always put rubbish in the correct bags neatly tied up inside front gate the night before and used to have no issues ever. Last year, things significantly deteriorated but regular Report Missing Collections worked perfectly and missed collections would be collected within 24 hrs: now they regularly ignore reports. I have written numerous times but never even received an acknowledgment, other than the auto-generated reference numbers. However, I suspect this will shortly change when they find themselves rather short on my Council Tax....but what can yer do?!This week, for first time in 3 weeks, they collected the usual waste (so at least no flies, wildlife `interest` or stink outside the door) but, as always, left the garden waste (4 bags) next to it. Postman has said, he won`t deliver letters if path is not cleared.Worst things happen at sea I guess but...
