I'm not sure you appreciate what a lot of trouble you could get yourself into.  Withhold one instalment of your Council Tax and you could end up having to pay the whole lot upfront and that is without them taking it even further.I still think you need to contact your Councillors and/or whoever has the portfolio for this.  It is part of their job to intervene with those within the Council on your behalf.  Your letter may just be sitting lost in a tray somewhere or deep-sixed.  Or the reporting facility not working.  A lot of people are probably working from home - that is certainly the case with a Council I have been dealing with recently over a commercial waste contract.  I was also horrified years ago reading in the small print for another company's terms of contract for waste collection that they did not actually have to collect!I am of course presuming that you have read the instructions on www.wandsworth.gov.uk on how to present your waste.  Usually there is an online form too for you to report a missed collection.  This may say within a certain amount of time - for instance before midday the next day which can be problematic.  I haven't needed to complain about Wandsworth's.  It is disappointing that Wandsworth's is just incinerated for energy from waste.  That is very low down the Waste Hierarchy.  They do however have some very comprehensive info about composting and the reduced price or good priced composters, water butts, hot composters eg the Green Cone which is good disposing of all food waste.  Anybody got one of these?  I still want to try one but only have a postage stamp of a garden.  I'm thinking of using one amongst the landscaping in an office garden but that would need heavy negotiation.https://www.wandsworth.gov.uk/rubbish-and-recycling/household-rubbish-and-recycling-collection/garden-waste/
