Byron Burgers -hopefully gone for good.
Let us hope whoever takes over the site keep their bin area clean and never pour waste cooking oil down the street drains. The rear of Byron burgers was always filthy with a dirty black film of cooking oil spreading all over the pavement. Staff seemed to smoke a lot while squatting on the steps and littered the area with fag-ends.I cannot remember even one occasion when the area was washed down under Byron. The prize for unpleasant exterior now passes to KFC on the High St. - even the new sign son the footpath indicating covid19 distancing are covered in a repulsive film of cooking oil already. God be with the days in London when the first thing the family-owned (often Italian) small restaurants and cafes did was wash down the pavements outside.
