I didn't say i hate the scheme nor the government (just wouldn't vote for Boris), if you read the comment it was why are large chains being part of this? With the governments drive (through cycling initiatives and the talk of banning junk food adverts) to cut the nation's obesity levels (which I support), I think the "Eat out" scheme could have been handled better. Independent eateries have had a far rough time than the chains, so why not tilt this in their favour? That was the comment I madeTim Martin of Wetherspoons fame, was all for telling his staff to get lost at the start of the lockdown, refused to pay some suppliers until a u turn and is generally a scoundrel... Why should he directly benefit from my tax pounds?
