Fleur Anderson failure to respond

I emailed Fleur Anderson more than a week ago about a change to planning laws that may affect a large people who own leaseholds in the many purpose built blocks in our constituency, asking her to support an early day motion in Parliament. I thought this was an issue that might be of strong interest to a new labour MP, given it involves exploitation of ordinary working people by wealthy vested interests. But no reply so far, and the second issue on which she has failed to show any interest.Has anyone else had experience of this lack of interest? Justine, for all her faults, was always helpful, and before that Tony Colman.There is an analysis of the issue here https://www.leaseholdknowledge.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/LKPanalysisTwoStoreySI.pdf, but in a nutshell, the proposal hands an enormous windfall to landlords, many of whom own shadowy companies domiciled overseas, and a considerable detriment to leaseholders who will have their property developed without their consent and without compensation.

I contacted Fleur recently and got an instant acknowledgement of my request, maybe it got filtered out as junk? "Thank you for contacting the office of Fleur Anderson, MP for Putney, Roehampton and Southfields. Please accept this acknowledgement as safe receipt of your email."Took her about a week to respond to me, I think most MP's & councillors are seeing a big increase in requests due to the  pandemic.

Well by coincidence she replied this afternoon!As you say MPs are busy people but the issue was important given the early day motion, and the last time she took four months.

Quite frankly a week is no time at all. Particularly if she needs to obtain detail from another source ie the Council Planning Dept.

Justine Greening almost always replied to my letters and emails, but not always promptly.  As has been noted, MPs are busy people. From what I have seen of Fleur’s interventions in the House she is doing an excellent job representing her constituents.

MPs are busy people and sometimes it takes time to gather material for a response - I detect a note of political bias in your comment which perhaps you would do better to curb - patience is a virtue is it not, and others may well have more pressing issues to deal with what with the corona 19 fallout - what makes you so important?

I've no idea what you wrote, but I've found Fleur very responsive to requests.
