Lidl - will eventually be coming to Putney

I am pleased to say this is now happening, deal exchanged a few weeks back. Subject to some works being undertaken Lidl are likely to open early 2021. Adjacent to Tk Maxx on the High Street.

One day Michael and Harrods ha ha!Surprisingly Putney is punching above it weight in terms of local independent retailer trade. Thanks to all those that continue to support our local shops. You’re doing a fabulous job.

Yes, it's good to see Lidl are still committed to opening in Putney in spit of changes in the retail market; that is, online purchasing becoming more prevalent.

Whilst I might not shop there in the current circumstances I think good news any retailer is committing to open a new shop on the high street, and a food retailer like Lidl would be good for increasing footfall for other local shops which have survived the rest of the year!

Great news!  So jealous of my family who live in Somerset and Wiltshire and have a Lidls very close by.  Not the best for everything, but excellent and much cheaper!!
