Local increase in Covid cases

BBC today shows Wandsworth Covid 19 case numbers have risen to 1141 from 1015 on 1 July. Numbers had been levelling off. Has anyone heard anything about reasons for the sudden increase?

Hi Katrina,Just compared data and they've added c. 130 cases.  They've back dated them with the oldest increase being on 1st April. Largest increase was on 24 April with 7 cases. For June they've increased cases by 17 (May: 54, April: 55). I am unsure the reason for this.  But hopefully it shows that these aern't c. 130 new cases in the last week.
