Litter

Anyone know why we're seeing more photographs of this since lockdown, or has it always been like this??  I don't see that much, thank God, but I don't go much to busy public places.  Dog poo is my only moan, but this litter problem seems so disgusting.What's to be done?  In my day there were little videos on TV saying 'Keep Britain Tidy' and 'Shut the gate if you go onto farmland' and 'Look left and right when you cross the road'. I'm sure there were others, like the Green Cross Man.Now people accuse it of being a nanny state and I know BoJo's regime really disapproves of insisting and prefers to give people the freedom to carve their own lives.

When I visit my friend in Leamington Spa we go for a walk, a couple of miles, in a nearby hilly, grassy area. It's near her house and very pleasant.When we epoke on the phone last week she said she'd been for a walk, but the area was so covered with litter it was unpleasant and she felt she didn't want to go again.I've seen reports that parts of Dartmoor have also been blighted.
