Liam, I very much hope you can get permission. Looking at the WPCC byelaws it seems you would need to do so:“No unauthorised person shall encamp upon the Commons, or erect or place any hut, platform, booth, tent, clothes-poles, hurdles, or other erection, or cause any obstruction thereon.“It would be a bit of a risk to go ahead without talking to them first. Mind you, they have very limited powers to fine anyone. But they might descent (on horses?) and disrupt the festivities.If the wedding is being held at the Church I think they might let you use their garden, which is often used for other purposes including outdoor play for small children which includes the erection of a tent and other stuff. When I and others hired the Church for a meeting a few years ago they were very nice to deal with.Nick
