I've signed the petition from various sites, glad it's being circulated on many sites.This is something I feel passionately about (and I am no vegetarian, yet). I have written to Fleur Anderson (no reply so far, apart from a generic email). I hope many people will lobby their MP, lobby the PM and anyone else you can think of. It will be disastrous if we take on the disgracefully low standards of raising and slaughtering farm animals in the USA. Pumped full of hormones, treated even worse than we treat our own battery farmed animals and yes, chlorinated chicken, to kill off all the bacteria on them.... yuck!! While I'm on the subject, when are we going to get our Navy to attack these monster Russian fishing trawlers out in the Channel, hoovering up anything living in our waters!!!Final part of rant, please try to buy as much British produce as you can and support our farmers before they too go out of business. I can see all these filthy street corner takeaways cheering when they get this horrible US meat. How do you think America has made so much money from takeaway chicken and burger mince, and you know what they say, whatever America does, we soon follow....
