Very hard not to get a logo on tops these days.No arrests were made following the Putney Bridge incident which was caught on CCTV.Let's hope someone knows him turns him in.

Now the police have tweeted that "the suspect was seen to kick another cygnet, which thankfully managed to escape to the water. The jogger had a logo on his running top and is balding."http://www.putneysw15.com/default.asp?section=info&page=concrimecygnet002.htmUnspeakable!

The photo is so awful I can't bear to look at it. Poor little creature. From the report on the front page it seems as if the culprit was old. I wonder if he has a history of violence, domestic violence perhaps.

It mystifies me why (male) joggers feel this entitlement, is it a rise of testosterone while exercising??
Bunny Payne ● 2128d
It has me too.
Lucille Grant ● 2128d
Sorry Lucille I didn't realise. I can't express how much this has upset me.
Sue Hammond ● 2128d
Yes Sue. I posted the sad news yesterday.
I finally got through to the swan sanctuary today and the very sad news is that the poor little thing died yesterday afternoon. So upset.
The cruel b@st@rd probably won't be caught but I hope the next time he goes for a jog he has a massive heart attack and dies. Karma.
If only he could be caught.
And me
Jane Carter ● 2128d
Oh, no!!! Poor little thing — what a brainless, heartless thing to do to it. I will join you Lucille in wringing the jogger's neck!
Ivonne Holliday ● 2128d
Probably the same man who pushed a woman into the front of an oncoming bus on Putney Bridge last year, also a jogger.
Bunny Payne ● 2129d
Sadly the cygnet has died. I could cheerfully wring that jogger's neck.
Lucille Grant ● 2129d
Senseless cruelty.
Michael Ixer ● 2129d
From elsewhere in the country but may cheer you.https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/pictures-dramatic-rescue-stops-cygnet-from-being-swept-out-to-sea-202161/

Awful behaviour. There are some very unpleasant people out there. Contrast this with the applause given to the RNLI guys who rescued an ungrateful cat from the Thames in Chiswick.
Jonathan Callaway ● 2129d
Brain dead cruel moron. I hope someone gives him a good kicking one day. Karma.
Sue Hammond ● 2129d
Absolutely horrible! Cannot understand why anybody would do such a thing. I do hope they manage to catch him. Unforgivable!
Ivonne Holliday ● 2129d
Sickening. Hope the police catch him. I was at Pen Ponds on Monday and there were a lot of people admiring the swans so hope there would have been some witnesses to this awful incident,
