The pond was teeming with tadpoles a couple of weeks ago to my family's delight! Glad they have sprouted legs in such great numbers.

I didn't spot them, a friend walking ahead of us (>2m !) did. I think it was the movement of one of them hopping that caught her attention - initial she thought it was a beetle or something but when we looked closely there were lots of little frogs moving from the pond across the path into the undergrowth. (My wife thinks my estimate of size is about right.)

I'll get a second opinion but I'd say about 1-2 cm, very small. We were desperately trying not to step on any!
