Compulsory face masks on public transport..

Great idea!  But, as I know from my NHS family and friends, this protects other people from you rather than vice versa.  Perhaps stop all the f*ckwits from running around not caring!!

As someone said elsewhere, its good to put your mask on, walk into thee banks, and ask the cashier for some money ... although, these days I suppose honest, upstanding citizens are all cashless not even market stalls have card read to task on ...

It used to be quite simple. If the guy approaching had a mask on there was a good chance you were in trouble and about to be mugged. Now we wont know the good guys from the bad . Hi ho silver

Nothing to stop people wearing them from next Monday or today for that matter. It's about time people acted with some responsibility on these simple issues rather than keep waiting to be told.

Do you not understand anything to do with with law?  It could be done as an an emergency but as it is a bit late for an emergency, I assume the 'usual procedure' is going through, which is a tad tardy

Yeh we won't be open for at least 1 month but even then at 10% capacity.  The office are giving us face masks etc which is nice.

A surprisingly sensible practical policy for a change.  2m being unworkable, face coverings seem highly sensible.Can’t see them having any problems with this!The company I work for has offices In central London and are not even reviewing opening the office for another month, so assuming many others are similar I doubt it will lead to a sudden surge of people.
