Cummings raison d'etre

As I understand it.  Cummings is not a politician  I think he rather despises them..  He is an 'ideas' man,  a person to whom it is necessary to reform what he considers to be wrong or needs doing.  He has no time at all for diplomacy or bureaucracy or red tape. He always said he would go when Brexit was sorted.  What on earth will many on this forum find to whinge about? Oh yes. Of course. The evils of Brexit.  And Boris

A MacLTotally agree..But that raises the ethical question.  Does the means justify the end? If you are pragmatic and the end result is what you want I would surmise that is the obvious thinking.  Indisputably, no person is indispensable and having served their purpose is removed

BS: "Cummings is not a politician". But he is the guy who is feeding Johnson with his ideas. That's part of the problem. The other part is that he is a hypocrite. He will eventually quit or be forced from the scene, Meanwhile he is doing great harm. He should go quickly.

There are a lot of different companies involved in the procurement of PPE.  The idea apparently was to use the just-in-time system that is used for car manufacture amongst other things. Simple and it's been a recurring theme... They.  Don't. Care.There will be a second wave of COVID-19, hitting in July, down to a lack of leadership and a desire to put this country on it's knees for a no  deal Brexit and then the skimming of the cream can begin.

Many, many people have predicted a pandemic, there are even several commercial films made about it over the past 5-8 years!!NO idea why we couldn't at least stock up with PPE, even I knew there was a possibly of a new and virulent pandemic!!!

This 'ideas' man is also a lying toad: he claims, in a long post on his blog, to have predicted the coronavirus pandemic."For years, I have warned of the dangers of pandemics," he insisted during his appearance in Downing Street's rose garden. He is a reformer (and not in a good way), he wants to cut down on the big state. Breaking it up and sell off the parts. His family and contacts have already done well out of this. The damage this man has done is irreversible, all for  profit, once Boris is pushed, he'll get his main man Gove into Downing Street and accelerate it all. He said he would go once Brexit is done but he is addicted to the power he has been given.
