Hi, can anyone recommend a company to cut a tree please? I suddenly realised the tree has had a growth spurt and is blocking light. Personally I hate the thing but DH loves it so just a trim opportunity...unlike my hair ;-)

I second Edward Payne and co.  I've used them twice now for my very large olive tree and am extremely happy with their work.

Hello Maxine, You could try Edward Payne & Co., 94 Ribblesdale Road, London SW16 6SE. 020 8696 0888.  I was very impressed with Edward when he did the site visit and their quotation was very reasonable too.  I was about to give him the contract though my son used his very persuasive arguments to employ a friend of his that lives in Berkshire...
