And the son could have given them an unexpected "present". And also, no future.I had never realised how hellish London is for even the rich and powerful. Having to travel 250 miles to get any help. What is the point of being a Svengali then?

I'm speaking as someone who isn't a parent but perhaps that means I'm not biased in saying this. Listening to Johnson yesterday one could interpret what Johnson said as being a criticism of those parents who followed the lockdown rules and did not selfishly put their own family first; hence, is Johnson implying those who obeyed the government's science led guidance and suppressed their instincts are poor parents? Paraphrasing Mrs Thatcher: there is no society, put your own family first and sod everyone else? I thought Johnson didn't agree with that?

Yes with a such a huge majority we are stuck with them.Meanwhile as I posted elsewhere in answer to the original question:Various stories  today - Dom's son is autistic which is why he had to be taken to people he was familiar with (ie family) and a scurrilous tale that Boris was caught waving his willy at Dom's wife before they got married (you have to laugh) and also a Daily Mail reporter  who takes pot shots at Starmer (to help  Boris) is one of Carrie's exes. Sure there's plenty more to come. Eases the boredom of lockdown somewhat.

It can crap anywhere that it likes, from whichever height it prefers. This is a duck with a stranglehold. We elevated this duck. This duck is what we chose, and it can, and does, tell us to duck off.
