Fireworks and pets!

Why are people setting off fireworks? I have an old dog who has been quivering and panting in fear after 3 sets of fireworks this evening. Around 5/11 and Diwali I can give her meds to calm in advance! Please think before setting off fireworks or at least warm your neighbours.

We've noticed some around the time of the Thursday clapping of hands for the NHS.  Perhaps it is worth taking precautions on Thursdays around 8pm?
