Neighbourhood networks

I heard from friends around the country that lots of local networks are publishing details of local shops who are prepared to do deliveries, butchers, bakers, etc.It could be done on here too, or does anyone have details of other local online networks …. thanks.

Hi BunnyA very public-spirited woman on Nextdoor.co.uk has published a list. I cannot copy it here, but if you have access to Nextdoor, look for the thread “Food and essential website links for local deliveries”. There are some very satisfied customers reporting on that thread. I ordered a fruit and veg box and a dairy/eggs/juice/ bread box from Eurofrutta on Sunday evening and it was delivered on Monday morning. Everything was really good quality. Also ‘Grind’ coffee bar on the Lower is doing some home deliveries, check this out at https://groundcoffeesociety.com/delivery and click on “order now”. I haven’t ordered from them, but they do have some groceries and the offerings look good.I’m sure other people can recommend local businesses too.
