Signs of the times

Last night, my bank was basically unobtainable for a period on several cash machines. Scary when the slip says "Account £00:00". Never seen that before.Today our home delivery person apolgised and said that they had been told to do doorstep deliveries only.Yesterday, chap at the next self-service till in Sainsbury's, talking on his mobile, saying that he might not go in today (Friday) as his office tended to be pretty quiet on an ordinary Friday and that it was  likely to be near-empty today.Little signs.

Lots of people can work from home now that they do so much work online and can arrange conference calls.  A good way to reduce the contact risk and stress.  The flexibility is good.  Better than wasting time and increasing the risk of catching something and sitting at a desk waiting for things to happen.  People tend to be available on the mobile 24/7 (too much)!The same thing happened when the Icelandic volcano caused chaos.
