phoned Putneymead surgery for telephone appointment. The first they could offer me was next Thursday. Is this the same with all local surgeries?

To be fair, could have been because I wasn't ill as such, and merely had a non urgent, although important question, that the other appointments were given more priority

on second thoughts, this could be down to the current situation i can imagine that they are having alot of telephone appointments with people who have flu like symptoms; makes sense

Are you sure that the person on the other end of the phone wasnt getting confused with what you were asking? Usually its on the same day?I had a really bad case of flu the other week and i cannot praise Putneymead enough, i got same day appointments both face to face and on the phone whenever i rangSometimes in general i have to wait for a normal appointment but telephone ones i have always had same day, may be worth double checking?
They would. HopefullyHave asked what ths problem was and the decided on the course of action. Thsts what my surgery said .
