Sending parcels to China

Putney post office has just refused to accept my parcel for China as "ChinaPost is not accepting them" this is absolute rubbish! Although there is no information on the post office website, I eventually found this on the Royal Mail website.https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5317/related/1

Perhaps I'm lucky but I have no problem with the post office  on Upper Richmond Road. I'm glad we have one at all.

I agree Martine. I go to Barnes which is handy for me on the 485 Bus.

Hi Adam, glad you got your parcel sorted! I detest going in there so much, I would rather walk 10 minutes to the other post office or pay a bit extra at Mail Boxes.  I am determined to avoid going into our main post office ever again.

thanks Martine. they accepted the parcel once I showed them the royal mail press release. btw mailboxes charges 20% vat on top of the PO prices

Adam, I think Putney Post Office is just awful and avoid it.   I use the one on URR/Dover House or Mail Boxes.  Good luck with your parcel.
