Sue. Yes, sad. Am I worried, not really, perhaps concerned about what the impact might be on the economy, NHS, possible panic buying of food, etc. From listening to news reports we still seem to be learning about Covid-19; how it spreads, infection mechanisms/rates, effects, death rates, etc and, in the early days at least, some in China don't seem to have been completely open about its spread. Jeremy Hunt made a point in the news today about the about the ability of Iran and some developing countries to deal with its spread. At present I'm not going to change any routines, although we've no plans to go abroad at present. (Felicity says we can't, she needs her staff at hand - Meow!) I guess its just being sensible - washing hands, etc - and watching the news to see developments but I'm no more concerned at present than with ordinary 'flu - and I've always been aware of that as my paternal grandparents and my father's younger sister died in the post WWI pandemic (he and his older sister survived). Given that many people seem to have fairly mild symptoms and I consider myself reasonably fit for my age I see it less of a threat than some strains of 'flu or crossing the road ... (ok, slightly flippant, I haven't seen comparisons of that).
