The entertaining side of Brexit...

... is all the stupid things the government and bureaucrats do trying to rush is through. I guess this app was designed on the cheap by some teenager who'd never heard of the Y2K issue, or I suppose it could just be incompetence? Bunny. An interesting thought. Perhaps if we turn the earth into a greenhouse that means extinction for humans (and cockroaches!) the robots we leave and the AI we've embedded in them will enable them to adapt! HAL might get the last laugh ...

I love technology, but I was chatting to a nice man at the till in Sainsburys today.  We were "joking" about how automated they are becoming and I said it would be such a shame if there were not people on the tills.  He said give it 4/5 years.  True or not, with advances for AI life is going to change.In my youth as an avid sci fi reading and a fascination with AI, I am delighted to see all these changes.  But we have to be so careful that we don't leave the human race behind.  Or maybe that's our destiny?
