Julia Domna Lebanese restaurant On LRR

A friend of mine and I ate there last night. We have been there a few times and the food is absolutely delicious. It's Lebanese - lots of meze type dips/small dishes and fresh salads. They don't yet have a license but are fine with people bringing their own.http://juliadomnadeli.co.uk/No personal connection, but wanted to bring this lovely little cafe to people's attention as it's easy to miss. It's on the last stretch of shops on the Lower Richmond Road before you get to the Duke's Head. I just love the food, and the owners are lovely. The husband cooks the food and the wife serves it. Last night we had Fatoush, Baba Ganoush, Labnah, a kind of Tabbouleh made with quinoa and Falafel. Delicious!!

I agree that we should all post recommendations about good local restaurants and encourage people to visit them. The last recommendation I made on here was the Bistro Vadouvan, which continues to be excellent - roll up, roll up!

Ate there again last night and can't say enough good things about them and their delicious food! Very fresh and so welcoming. Highly recommended. Let's keep them as a great local, so everyone be sure to make a regular visit.

This does indeed look a delicious and inexpensive addition to the Putney dining options. Their website doesn't give opening hours, but I just checked and they are 11.00 am to 11.00 pm but last orders will be well before the 11.00 pm time.I am definitely going to check it out this week. Thanks for the recommendation.

Excellent authentic Lebanese food. The mezze portions are very generous and they are only too happy to provide containers to bring what you can't eat home.
