Dog Walker with FAR TOO MANY DOGS

Upsettingly my old little dog was bowled over roughly by some dog walkers dog and because was walking sooo many dogs and dealing with others was too far away from this rough treatment of my dog.I think I have met her before she is perfectly nice but with so many dogs it is ofcourse impossible to control them! it would be much easier for everyone if they walked less dogs at a time to prevent future incidences, so unfortunately it has now made my dog nervous about going on the common again which is a bit unfair.

I can't imagine any dog walker could guarantee to bag all the excrement of that many dogs. Many dog walkers fail with just one.

I think normally the number of dogs is 4.  I understand with a special license 6 may be walked but only 4 are to be off lead.

What part of the common was this & between what hours of the day? I, too, am sure that there is a by-law limiting the number of dogs under one person's control is five. I'm not anti-dog as I walk my own pooch & a guest Guide Dog almost daily on Wimbledon Common.

Carla I believe the bye law on the common is no more than 5 dogs per walker. Some may feel this still too many but I can recall before that bye law packs of 20 or more being walked by a single walker.
