Has anyone seen the middle aged homeless man around East Putney recently? Usually wears a long coat and smart shoes. He’s been around for years, but not seen in a while. Hope he’s ok!

I think you're talking about the gentleman who's been around Putney for years. He sleeps every night in all weathers in the entrance to a large house at the top of Oakhill Road. It's a permanent arrangement as his bedding is kept there all day. Hopefully it at least gives him a permanent address which the authorities will recognise even if I was in his shoes, I'd regard myself as homeless.

I gave him money for a sandwich and a drink he was near the cab rank in Werter Road that was a few weeks ago when it was cold. He told me he had lived in Putney all his life. He is very polite.
