Leonine Gallery ~ Disraeli Road SW15

I saw today that the shop was completely empty, it didn't look like there was any refurbishment going on so does anyone know why it is closed?  There was a typed note inside the door but I couldn't stop to read it as I was a passenger in a car driving past.  I do hope everything is okay with the two lovely guys who were there for so long, they and their expertise will be sorely missed.

I used them. Very good. And may I add that, if you're a Putney Society member, you get a discount there too. (also at the framers on Upper Richmond Road near Putneymead, but I've not tried them yet)

So sad to see these lovely guys go - I wish them a happy rural retirement.Caroline - I can thoroughly recommend Kings Court Galleries - just over the bridge at 949 Fulham Road.  A glorious family run space with amazing maps and prints, offering a first-class framing service.

Hi Caroline - Just reading this thread, in fact Zinc White have moved too! They're now in a railway arch just off Putney Bridge Road, close to the dry cleaners. I looked them up. Their address is Arch 8, Railway Arches, 150 Putney Bridge Road, SW15 2NG. (zinc-white.co.uk). I'm sure they'll be able to help.

Sad loss to Putney. Just as I was going to take in some pictures for framing. Anyone know where we should go now to get our framing done?

I am really sad about that - they were so helpful and nice and good at what they did.  Hope they and their dog will enjoy retired life in the country.

I gather they've retired to the country somewhere. They closed up a little while ago. Think they just decided to leave London.
